WEST HAM, UK—ChatGPT has become a household name seemingly overnight with features in thousands of print, broadcast, and Internet media, along with uncountable blog and podcast conversations.
“We are pleased and gratified about the massive media attention ChatGPT had received the past few weeks,” OpenAI spokesperson Blackie Lawless said. “But the product is pretty much the same as it was last year. The only difference is that we received grant money that empowered us to hire Sylvia Marketing. They got the word out, and like the first mouse trap on the market, a press tsunami ensued.”
Heinrich von Stubeubensloffer, COO for Sylvia Marketing & Public Relations said, “When we met our OpenAI friends at a SXSW conference back yonder, we knew we had something nobody ever seen. When we tried the product, we knew we were looking into the future.”
ChatGPT interacts in a conversational way. The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer followup questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests. ChatGPT is a sibling model to InstructGPT, which is trained to follow an instruction in a prompt and provide a detailed response.
“We clicked with the Sylvia posse right away and were impressed they were at the event representing Aerosmith’s front man Steven Tyler’s nonprofit, Janie’s Fund,” Lawless said. “We thought with all those press contacts, they could get us a few decent hits, but I have to admit we were not prepared for all the press attention.”
Sylvia Marketing & Public Relations is most known for representing charter schools across the US, global supply chain and logistics corporations, and A-list celebrities.
