Kindergarten Move-Up Day

West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School (WPACES, pronounced W-P-ACES) will host its annual Kindergarten Move-Up Day, celebrating the special milestone of its youngest students as they begin their transition to first grade.

Who: West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School kindergarten students, parents, and school staff.

Two ceremonies will be held to celebrate each of the school’s five Kindergarten sections. Families will attend this joyful event.

  • Wed. June 4, 2026
  • First Ceremony: 8:30 AM — K1, K2, and K3 sections ceremony
  • Second Ceremony: 10 AM — K4 and K5 sections ceremony
