WHAT: School Lane Charter School invites the media to its campuses on its first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year, Monday, August 24, 2026. Coverage opportunities include students arriving by bus and car, families dropping off children at school, and the excitement of the first day for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
This school year also marks the 10th anniversary of the School Lane’s International Baccalaureate Campus on Tillman Drive.
“The first day of school is always one of the most adventurous mornings of the year at School Lane,” said SLCS Deputy CEO Jim Munizza. “There is genuine excitement in welcoming back returning students, greeting new families, and watching our seniors begin their countdown to graduation.
